David Sandberg

David is dedicated to helping rural hospitals create a brighter future for the communities they serve. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah and completed his MBA at the University of Phoenix. He then spent eleven years with FranklinCovey, where he developed a love for helping organizations improve performance, strengthen leadership, and achieve lasting success.

 

After moving on from Franklin Covey, David founded Cycle of Business where he started partnering with rural hospitals across the country where he learned the critical role hospitals play in their communities. He made it his mission to help rural hospitals grow so they could improve their communities across America.

 

Rural Health Experts is the culmination of David’s experience, relationships, and commitment to rural healthcare. It’s purpose is to provide rural hospitals with access to expert consultants who will help them navigate today’s complex healthcare environment and ensure they continue serving their communities for generations to come.

Terry Brown

Terry blends a passion for driving business growth with insider knowledge of the healthcare industry. He graduated with a bachelors from Weber State University and later became a licensed dispensing optician in Arizona. Since then he’s launched start-ups and grown profitability for business and hospitals.

Terry specializes in driving growth for small clinics and hospitals. He leads full operations in over 40 clinics across Arizona, Oregon, and Washington, 12 of which he launched within the time-span of a year.

Terry excels at increasing profitability through effective strategic planning. He’s designed a strategic planning framework for clinics, merging quality patient care with business goal orientation to produce consistent profitability and enhanced patient outcomes. Over time, he has doubled topline revenue for clinics and businesses.

Matt Reese

Matt is a proven leader who has helped companies and hospitals struggling to stay operational. He brings to the table years of entrepreneurial experience, having built his first business after graduating with a bachelors from college. He’s also a gifted mentor who’s tutored many successful business leaders.

Matt has been a huge help to the healthcare community. In 2014, He received the CEO Advocate of the Year award from the Association of California Healthcare Districts. He’s proven he deserves the award since, as its CEO, he stabilized operations for a hospital on the verge of bankruptcy by securing a $20 million loan to replace its Emergency Department and other critical services.

As the CEO of Southern Humboldt Community Healthcare District, a hospital in a remote area of rural America Matt has introduced new services, expanded outreach, and has more than tripled the hospital’s grown gross revenue.
